What is the one aspect of this broken world that, when you see it, touch it, get near it, you just can’t stand? Very likely, that firestorm of frustration reflects your holy discontent, a reality so troubling that you are thrust off the couch and into the game. It’s during these defining times when your eyes open to the needs surrounding you and your heart hungers to respond that you hear God say, “I feel the same way about this problem. Now, let’s go solve it together!”

This is where I am right now and I know that there are other individuals that I currently serve with that feel the same.  Now, it is the same feeling but different applications that we are all fired up about.   My area right now is that the majority of the Christians that I see everyweek have lost their passion for serving Christ.  It has become something that they do instead of THE thing that they do.  I pray that all will seek God’s face and find where He wants you to be and that you will dive into it head first with an unquenchable passion.  Keep striving and let’s get excited.

My daughters watch “High School Musical” all the time and one of the songs that they sing is called “Keep your head in the game”.  And that is great advice for our Christian walk as we need to make sure that we keep our head in the game and not lose focus.  We need to remember that Christ came so that we could go to heaven sure, but he also commanded us to go and spread His word.   So lets find where our passion is and just jump in head first and make an impact for His kingdom!!
