No one will know…

Are you the same person when you are all alone as you are when everyone is around?  Are you the same person on a business trip that you are when you are home?

Character: who you are when no one is looking and what you are willing to stand for when someone is looking. It is who you are striving to be and what you can be trusted with

What a powerful definition, yet also what a strong standard. I heard a pastor speak about his proudest moment in his life was when his son was asked what is your dad like at home, and he replied he is the exact same as he is at church. If you really think about that statement how strong was his character? So many times Christians put on their “Jesus Face” when they come into church so that people don’t know that they are hurting or in need. And what they are forgetting is that your local church is the place that you can go to shed the world’s baggage.

We as Christians need to remember that we are God’s adopted children and that alone gives us reason to rejoice. But we must also remember that we are His so our life and our actions must maintain a certain standard. I challenge you to live by the one that is outlined in the quote above. I also challenge you to find your passion. Find what drives you crazy and where God is working in that area and just go all out. Make a difference and find your passion for Christ’s work.

God Bless ~ Tyler
